Junior Programmer

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Programmer to join our team. This position is available for part time/casual basis with possibility for full time. The successful applicant will be working to help with new builds and servicing existing clients.

We are seeking candidates with excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as excellent written and spoken English skills.

A successful candidate will need to have the following:

• Good ability to understand the business needs and transform them into web applications
• Development experience with PHP, .NET, VBA
• Good proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and web technologies
• Inside-out knowledge of WordPress
• Database design & programming experience either with T-SQL, MysQL or Microsoft Access
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar is desirable
• 1-3 years commercial experience will be desired
• Photoshop skills expected

In addition to these core skills, you will need to:

• Create well designed, reusable objects, widgets, plugins, functions
• Understand browser specific compatibility issues.
• Conduct testing according to plan
